Purpose of the workshop:
This programme uses a mix of self assessment, input on current thinking and practical activity to equip managers, team leaders and supervisors with the knowledge, understanding and techniques to minimise work related stress in their teams. The focus of the workshop is on planning and implementing workplace solutions.
Outcomes from the workshop:
Understand stress, its causes and effects
Differentiate between stress and pressure
Recognise symptoms of stress in members of their team
Discuss stress, stress factors and related issues openly and productively with members of their teams
Carry out risk assessments in the workplace, with the aim of identifying and controlling stress factors
Plan and implement appropriate measures to reduce or remove stress factors in the workplace
